CERTIFIED SUSTAINABILITY LABELS

Mövenpick BDMS Wellness Resort Bangkok is proud to be a certified MICE venue under the Thailand MICE Venue Standard (TMVS) by the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB).
This prestigious recognition reflects our commitment to providing world-class meeting facilities, professional services, and a safe, sustainable environment that meets international standards.
Our venue is ideal for hosting corporate meetings, conferences, and incentive programs with confidence and quality assurance.

Our Green Globe Certification is the premier global sustainability programme for the tourism industry. It embodies the 17 goals that serve as a universal call to action aimed at eradicating poverty, safeguarding our planet, and ensuring that all individuals can enjoy peace and prosperity.
Since joining the Green Globe programme, we have actively focused on several key areas related to social and environmental initiatives. We prioritise sustainable infrastructure, conserve energy and water, utilise locally sourced products, offer climate-friendly menu options, ensure proper waste management is in place, and engage in community corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Our commitment to sustainability permeates every aspect of our guests’ experiences and our resort operations.

Our LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification is a globally recognized rating system that verifies our building’s sustainability performance, demonstrating our commitment to energy efficiency, resource conservation, and environmental responsibility.
Our initiatives include the use of solar power systems in our buildings, upcycled carpets made from 202,850 recycled PET plastic bottles, on-site electric vehicle charging stations, high-efficiency plumbing fixtures that reduce water usage by 45%, and LED lighting systems to minimize energy consumption.

Our Fitwel three-star certification is a globally recognized, evidence-based credential that demonstrates our commitment to the health and well-being of those who live, work, and visit our buildings.
The three-star rating represents the highest level of Fitwel accreditation and is based on our efforts across the seven Health Impact Categories (HICs) that contribute to Fitwel building and site certification.
Our commitments include adhering to the ASHRAE ventilation standard to reduce indoor exposure to PM2.5 by 7.5%, maintaining a smoke-free environment, providing dedicated green spaces, utilizing floor-to-ceiling windows to allow natural daylight, and offering healthy, climate-friendly menus.

In collaboration with Klimanto, a pioneering partner of Accor, we introduce carbon labels on all menus, revolutionizing the dining experience by providing guests with invaluable insights into the environmental impact of their choices. These labels, indicating low, medium, or high carbon footprints, empower guests to make informed decisions that align with their sustainability values. Leveraging advanced climate data derived from lifecycle assessments, Klimanto meticulously calculates the carbon footprint of each meal, shedding light on the environmental ramifications of every culinary creation.

We partner with the Humane Society to spearhead innovative culinary initiatives, including training and support for plant-based cooking. This partnership underscores our unwavering commitment to embracing plant-based cuisine and promoting sustainable dining options. Through a bespoke culinary resource program, our chefs receive comprehensive guidance on incorporating plant-based ingredients into their recipes, culminating in a tantalizing array of dishes that delight the senses while treading lightly on the planet.
